It seems that Samsung has ample of goodies hoarded under the wrap for CES 2018. Hot on the heels of the launch of Notebook 9 line, the Company is back in news with its refreshed version of Notebook 7 Spin. Samsung Notebook 7 Spin comes packed with additional features and a powerful spec sheet.
The Notebook 7 Spin includes a 13-inch touchscreen display that can be rotated 360-degrees. By using this rotating display, you can convert the device into a tablet or use it as a traditional PC in the landscape mode. Apart from this, the display features a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. With the aim of making it convenient to use in the tablet mode, Samsung has added the stylus support with the Active Pen, which is vended separately.
This new Samsung 2-in-1 measures approx 1.53kg in weight and boasts a versatile design that provides it a thickness of around 18.5mm. What’s more, the Active Pen support will make it a cinch to take quick notes. Samsung Notebook 7 Spin has also integrated support for inbuilt Studio Plus so that users can make personalized movies featuring photos and videos.

The laptop makes use of the 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor together with 8GB RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. Another key addition to the device is the fingerprint scanner embedded in the Power button on the side of the laptop, which works in tandem with Windows Hello. During the launch of the upgraded version of Samsung Notebook 7 Spin, the Senior Vice President YoungGyoo Choi said,
“Our customers wanted a functional, intuitive device that includes a wide range of their favorite features, and that’s what we’ve delivered with the Notebook 7 Spin (2018).”
Samsung Notebook 7 Spin features a back-lit keyboard with a Keystroke distance of 1.5mm. Taking about the connectivity, there’s a handful of ports: one USB Type-C port, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.1 port, an HDMI port, and an audio jack. Rounding off the hardware, the device has a VGA camera that doubles as a webcam and Windows Precision Trackpad. The South Korean entrepreneur said that the device comes with an enhanced battery life and claimed that the Notebook 7 Spin can last a whole day on a single charge.
Samsung is anticipated to showcase three new laptops at CES 2018 and the new Notebook 7 Spin is one of them. Though the exact price details haven’t revealed yet, the laptop will go on sale in the U.S. and selected countries in the first quarter of 2018.
