Twitter is meant to be a public forum but there are things you want to keep private. Location sharing is one of such things. Both Android and iOS Twitter apps let you easily share your location while posting a tweet. Although this may be a great feature for businesses, the majority of Twitter users prefer to hide their location. If you too are concerned about your privacy, here’s a simple trick that will let you turn off location sharing on Twitter for Android and iOS.
Location services enable Twitter to provide you with the content that is better tailored to your location. In case you have location services enabled, the social media app may use a variety of signals such as cell tower signal and GPS to determine the precise location of your device.
