You can easily enable Google Now in Android Nougat. All you need is to:
- Place your finger on the Microphone icon at the bottom-left of the lock screen, and swipe in any direction
Extremely easy, isn’t it? But there is yet another method that is a lot more uncomplicated. You don’t even need to touch your smartphone to activate Google Now. You can activate it with your voice instead. However, you’ll need to activate Trusted Voice feature on your smartphone first. Here’s how to do so:
Step 1. Launch the Settings of your smartphone
Step 2. Tap on Google
Step 3. Scroll down and tap on Search & Now option
Step 4. From the list of settings that appear in front of you, select Voice
Step 5. Tap OK Google detection
Step 6. Under the OK Google detection section, toggle the Always on switch
Step 7. A prompt will appear in front of you, asking whether you want to turn on Trusted Voice or not. Tap on Yes, I’m in option
This will activate the Trusted Voice feature on your smartphone. From now on, you can enable Google Now on your phone just by saying “ok Google”. Enjoy the new functionality.
