  • Launch Settings on your Android device

  • Turn OFF the Automatic date and time option and then enter accurately the date and time

Factory reset your smartphone

If none of the above-mentioned options could resolve the issue, try to perform the factory reset on your smartphone. This will wipe everything from your phone including settings, contacts, installed apps and the files in device storage. So, it’s always recommended to take backup of your phone before factory resetting it.

To factory reset your smartphone:

  • Open Settings on your phone
  • Now scroll down and tap Backup & reset
  • Tap Factory data reset option under Personal data section
  • A message will appear on screen, warning you that Factory resetting your phone will erase everything from your phone
