  • Open the Google Play Store on your Android device

How to manually update apps on your Android

To install latest updates, Open Play Store on your device and select My apps & games option by tapping the menu button. Now under the Installed screen, search for UPDATE option. This will appear only when some apps or games on your device need updates.

Now search for the app you want to update and tap it. A new screen will appear with two options: Uninstall and Update. Tap on Update option to upgrade the app to the latest version. If installing updates one by one seems a bit lengthy, you can get updates for all with a single tap by tapping the Update all option.
