Step 5. In the next window, select the amount of RAM you want to assign to your virtual machine
Step 6. Now you’re prompted to create a virtual disk, where you’ll install your virtual operating system. There are plenty of options to select from:  You can choose an existing virtual hard disk, use a dynamically expanding virtual hard disk or go for advanced options.
Step 7. Name the virtual hard drive! Select a location you want to store the drive on your PC and click Next
Step 8. Select the size of virtual hard drive and click Create button
Once, you’ve created a Virtual Machine on your PC, you’ll need to install the operating system on your device.

Install an Operating System on your Virtual Machine

To install a new Operating System on your new Virtual Machine, you’ll have to follow some simple steps mentioned below:

  • Go to the Virtual PC once again and locate your new Virtual Machine
  • Right click the machine to select settings (you can also click Settings)
  • In the settings menu, you’ll have to specify the location where the installation disk for the new operating system is located
  • Select open an ISO image to select an image with installation files to proceed further with OS installation process
