Microsoft has finally released Windows 10 Anniversary Update which comes with a plethora of new features and options. Ability to customize Quick Actions tiles is a new powerful feature added by Microsoft to the update. If you open the Action Center, the feature will allow you to instantly fiddle with various options like location settings, airplane mode, screen brightness, and battery saver.
Here is our step-to-step guide to customize Quick Actions tiles in Windows 10
In the earlier Windows versions, there was no option to rearrange quick toggles, but with the new Windows 10 Anniversary update you can now customize the toggle the way that suits you best. There are two options to show Quick Action tiles in the Action Center. You can see all of them either in a block or just hit Collapse in order to see only the top four.
Start off by simply opening the Settings option in Windows 10 and then move to System > Notification & actions.
Now you can see all the Quick Action tiles on the right side of your screen, arranged in the same order in which they actually become visible in the Action center. Here you can press and hold any icon of your choice and customize them.
Bonus tip: You can customize all the available icons in the Action Center following this method.
In case you don’t need a particular icon to show in the Action Center, just hit the Add or remove quick actions option. A screen will appear allowing you to disable Quick Action tiles from the Action Center.
Once you are done with the customization of Quick Actions – the way you like, it’ll immediately reflect in the Action Center. So the next time you go to the Action Centre, there will be only those Quick Actions tiles available which you have allowed to be there.
