Microsoft has announced that it is planning to bring the Outlook Focused Inbox feature on Windows 10 devices.

Microsoft Outlook app is certainly one of the best email clients available on iOS and Android. Now it seems the company is seeking some new ways to improve the Windows 10 app.

On Windows 10 devices, the Outlook App is integrated into the operating system. Despite having different look and feature line up, it provides excellent performance. Windows 10 Outlook App is now going to get one of the best features available on Android and iOS.

What is Focused Inbox?

Focused Inbox cleverly presorts your email so that you can focus on what’s really important. It places your most important emails in the Focused folder and the rest in ‘Other’.

Outlook Focused Inbox feature is compatible to work with all your email accounts, either personal or professional.

How Focused Inbox works?

Based on a highly advanced system developed by Accompli, Focused Inbox groups your important messages, leaves spam behind along with other automated emails.

Microsoft explains, “Focused Inbox takes into account emails and contacts you interact with, and filters out noisy sources like automatically generated or bulk mail. The more you use it, the better it gets. You can easily reclassify emails between Focused and Other.”

According to the company, Focused Inbox feature will soon roll out to all versions of Outlook.

It is still not clear that who will get the update first. Will Insiders be the first ones to get it? Or, will it be rolled out as a global release? However, it is sure that the feature will be rolled out in the Anniversary Update due in July. Thus Outlook Focused Inbox feature will soon work on both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. It is also expected that it will be a part of the default feature lineup.
